Slightly sweet, with a typical, but not overwhelmingly so, chinense taste. Heat was maybe a notch or two below an orange hab, but I find these more pleasant to eat. Would be good for cooking. In all it is a nice plant and I recommend the Tradewinds variety for growing if you have space.
