Transparent leaves? WTF?

Guys,

Some of my leaves had darker green spots on them, so I rubbed the spots. Imagine my surprise when the chlorophyll rubbed off and I'm left with transparent patches on the leaves!

Not good. Fungal infection? They were in a plastic covered mini-greenhouse thing, and I've removed the cover today for a couple of days because it was retaining WAY too much moisture.

Rate of growth good, so that's OK. Soil was too wet (re: retained moisture) but that's why I've taken the cover off.

Is the greenhouse ventalated at all? You definately need air cirulation in there.

I've never heard of this happening, but its probably due to the high moisture level.

Yeah, that's what I figured.

Worried about root rot now. But the plants all seem "pert", if you can use that word in relation to a plant, and healthy, so we'll see.
