Trimming is a lot of work

^ :D

Trimming does blow, after a day or so your scissor fingers are worn to the bone. I tend to get all unionist if there's a crew... grower=grow, trimmer=trim.

Are you seriously whining?  Get over yourself buddy!
Not whining at all. Just thinking out loud my friend. With four plants and roughly 5 oz each it is a lot of work but I actually enjoy it.
Put on some Pink Floyd and get to work. :)
If we get some rain this winter I am going with eight plants next season. Who needs peppers? :P

6 plants and 70 oz of dry....... that'll give your hands a work out.  And there's still a half a plant to go.  First year grow, don't think he did too bad~  It's all for the 'Dude, isn't he the lucky one to have me around to help.

That's impressive for a first grow Salsalady. What size pots or were they in the ground?

  not quite, I wore gloves....and that other don't happen in the house!

PMDad- 4" starts from a friend in the spring, into the ground on July 4th....BUT...the friend is an indoor grower and said to space them 2' apart, about what they do for the indoor grow.....  OOPS!  Should of been at least 6' apart.   Aw, well, it was a ton of fun, especially when 'Dude was sitting in the office and saw a delivery driver do a triple-take and his jaw drop to the ground ...
what he saw back in August-
(edit- hmmm trying to link to exterior site.  ...HEY!  linked it!)

Nice! What strain? Must be fertile soil.

2x blue dream, 2x jackHerer, 1x permafrost, 1x mystery.  and yes it is good garden soil.  Bit of ferts, sunshine and water.  Beginners luck.

Let us know how it works out.  I will be busy trimming in about 4 weeks.  Tough life!
I used the new trimmers last night and I like it even more than the Fiskers. In all fairness though the Fiskers have straight blades and the hydrofarm trimmer has curved blades so they are a little more precise. They are also longer blades and a bit sharper of a taper at the tip.

PMD,  Thanks for the update on the trimmers.  Will be needing to get ready soon so it is nice to hear of someone's first hand experience.

And you and SL both make me jealous.  Both of those fine pictures had some nice looking bud.

Always nice to see others efforts.

Thanks, guys~

nice cola, PMDad.  Our friend stopped by the other day and said the mystery plant was Herejuana.

So.......any of that make it into a special salsa verde? Nah scratch that, would taste too green. But you could work some into some melted cheese

my bbq sauce has butter in it....... .....     :shh:

:D I add butter/oil to everything sometimes. Bean dip is a personal favourite. It goes well in anything herby. You can decarb and pour through for less plant/chlorophyll taste.

5 zip a plant, outdoors??? get your shit together PMD. Or stop growing in one gallon pots
They were 17 gallon totes with the rope handles.
I can't control genetics buying feminized seeds from the UK and I don't have indoor lights to start them early for much larger plants. It's all good though as too tall means people can see it and try and rob me. ;)
