One of the peach bhut jolokia plants that I have that was started from seeds saved from last year had a different look to it when compared to its siblings when it was just a seedling. It was obvious that it was a cross of some kind. Now that it is flowering and producing pods, I am a bit confused on what it could have crossed with. It has purple flowers. I was pretty sure that only pubes had purple flowers and were unable to cross with anything. The only pube that was grown amongst my plants last year was a manzano. Below is a picture of one of the flowers and a couple of pods. Any thoughts?
