pod-i.d. Unknown Pepper

Bought this plant labeled "Chillon Pepper" at a nursery in CA. A search of Chillon returns nothing except they may a local hybrid. The chilis are about 1 1/2 in. long and very hot. Anyone know what this is ? Thanks

I don't know what a Chillon pepper is...
But to me it looks more like a Chiltepin or Pequin.

I always feel like checking with the source should be an option. Call the nursery and ask. It could be anything from they named the variety to it was a chiltepin written wrong, or they can ask the grower. But you won't know unless you call.

Okay, I finally got the scoop. Called the commercial nursery that produced it and asked them what it is. They said they just got the seeds from a customer of the retail nursery where I bought the plant and basically they have no idea what it is.
