here are some facts of my current season.
i started the cap.chinense and cap.pubescens in the middle of december, the cap.baccatums in january and in february the cap.annuums.
most of the plants are situated in my new floor-heated greenhouse
(build in april/may), some in topsoil and the rest on my terrace.
due to the unsettled weather conditions here in germany i had some problems in the end of may with fungus (black-spots?) and louses. i fought the fungus with azoxystrobin and the louses with thiacloprid and since a month the plants are on a good way. as fertilizers i use basacote plus 6m (longtime fertilizer 16/8/12) and hakaphos soft spezial(16/8/22). soil is a mix of turf, perlite and vermiculite. i kept records of my whole season (seedling,cultivating,greenhouse building) but i don´t wanna bore you with the whole stuff so here are just the latest pictures:
