chinense Very Cool Bright Orange C. chinense pods - Kroger

I ran across these in an orange habanero bin in my local Kroger supermarket. They caught my eye immediately as I never saw anything like them before. They are really nice. The top has a scotch bonnet look and they taper to a point. A little wrinkly too. Very vibrant orange. Will taste soon. I'll be growing these this year from saved seed. Hopefully they are not some freak hybrid.

Identical to what I got at the local supermarket and I saved the seeds - they sprouted in seven days! I posted pics and was told that they could have been congo trinidads (some were red), orange habs or even paper lanterns...

I found these same peppers at Farm Fresh. I started growing them. At first I thought they were Scotch Bonnets, but they are very odd. Anyone know what variety these are? They are less hot than regular orange habaneros. I think they taste the same as regular orange habs but with less heat. Let me know what you think taste wise.

Edit: I love the wrinkles on them and want to cross them with regular habs.
