Never had many problems with pests (besides a brief aphid invasion), but this year I noticed a healthy plant of mine hasn't bounced back. I haven't been taking the best care of it due to work and the birth of my son, and I'm feeling pretty guilty at the moment. I had a strong bond with this plant, it was a twin. Recently half of the plant died, and even though I'm a bit late, I took steps to save it today. After feeding and watering, I noticed this strange bug and it's babies. After searching, I think it might be "vine weevil beetle maggots". I'm desperate for any advice on this, and if it's possible to save my plant.
