Which entry works best for a Super Bowl party, and which are you most likely to recreate based on how awesome it looks?

Vote for your fave!

I voted for Joyners.  In addition to recipes that sounded great, his pics are drool worthy.  That vibrancy of that chimi and grinding his own meat sealed the deal for me.

As always everyone brought something great to the table; pasties AND dessert, ceviche, cheez it crusted wings, THP award winning food additive... One thing for sure, we all ate well yesterday!

Thank you sir, my wife was a huge fan of the burgers and wings and the BBQ and chimichurri have become staples. I must admit, that was one expensive burger! They would need to charge $20 in a restaurant at a minimum.

Your food is right up my alley, great job!

This was an easy vote for me.

Sliders and shrimp ceviche?

Get outta' town.

I'd bark like a dog and crawl on my belly like a reptile for that sheeit.

Sum is back!

Okay here's my vote... Sum... why?

Pork/beef sliders with a potato stick crunch... get your snack food fix ON your burger... no greasy hands, and less work... and a fitting complement. I love dipping chips in ceviche. It's also a great palate cleanser and makes you want to go back for another slider... nothing too heavy here... a slider, some ceviche, another slider... the sauce looks like a homemade ketchup with a kick... diggin' the pickle on the single shot. Once you're full of burgers you can just keep eating that ceviche like salsa until the game is over.

Everyone did great work, but dats ma vote! Great combos/flavors/ideas.

Lol, i completely miss that, i thought it was that week... But i'm not into superbowl stuff (a truth used as a lie, if there's for, here i am).
All looks excellent, hope to review all recipes and vote in time (quite a lot to do lately).

Hahaha 100's of users at a time and 19 votes....epic #fail  HnB had some good eats as did everyone else..best of luck to all

Not a jab at you boss ;)

I'm just starting to follow throwdowns. I used to think participating in one would be hard. But I can't imagine it being more difficult than casting a vote in this one! Every entry looks downright pro! I had to go over the whole thread about four times before I felt comfortable deciding on "the one".
In the end I had to go with SumOfMyBits. Those sliders and that ceviche each got my mouth watering in their own right, but the combination of the two really took some guts to attempt. Such contrast. So complimentary. Not something you'd expect to see in a restaurant. Too bad - they should be taking notes! Way to go, Sum!
Again, every entry had the trademarks of a chef who loves to cook for folks who love to eat. Every entry was a winner, it just came down to personal preference. Good work all, and thank you for sharing all the recipes and ideas!

Wow, read all, that's crazy! If i didn't miss that i don't know if i took part, too much things to do and i'm lazy.

My vote goes to Sum, plenty of tastes i like!
And that cheviche stuff: seems the thing i'd eat all day week along with nachos!:
And those grilled onions....

Close second? All-->

(I say give every entrant a crown)
+1! :D

Awesome entries! All of them.

Husker got my vote.
Not really sure why, they all looked awesome, but I was just kind of drawn to his.

Sum's catching up with still more that 24 hours to go!

Hops has such a variety of flavors - very impressive spread and exactly the sort of varied selection of deliciousness I'd want to walk into at a Super Bowl party.

Probaby why he's rockin it so hard. That and the LDHS mushrooms.
:D

Loved all the others - any one would have a place at my Super Bowl party (and in mah belly)

Initially, I was in love with Sum's ceviche and sliders.  Then I saw Joyner's and thought man I want that, but in the end the incredible offerings of Hop won me over even though the pics were not nearly as good as what he made.  If I had not seen the other pics he posted it might have been different, but damn if that was not the most incredible Superbowl spread I have seen.  Good job all.

WHOA!
I didn't expect to get a single vote!!
I appreciate all the comments and I can assure ya'll the food was good.
I had a heck of a good time making it and am very thankful to all of the vendors that sent the items from the Super Bowl Contest.  Seriously, all of the products were awesome and I see why the won the awards.
All of the entries were awesome and I will take something from each one of them to make in the future.
Too bad you can only vote once... I'd be happy with any of the entries.
I narrowed my selection down to two and had a hard time deciding on which one pick.
In the end it was Sum's Cubana Sliders and Ceviche.  I could go for a plate of that right about now.
