wasabi roots.

just had a thought, as everyone seems to rave on about the "real" wasabi, do you think its possible to grow it? From what i've seen it grows in mountain streams, so mabye a hydrophonic set up would work if yo chilled the water? or is this just a bit dumb?

Growing the actual wasabi rhizome is difficult at best. If you are considering trying it, be prepared to do your home work. There are reasons that it only grows in specific geographical areas in the world. It's quite a finicky plant. If you are successful, you can make a lot of money.
