water Watering when potting up?

Quick question. Potted seedlings up to 3 inch pots today. First sets of leaves were getting nice and big, and roots coming out the bottoms of my cell packs.

I moistened my pro-mix before potting up, but it's not wet like if I'd watered. I know chiles like to dry out a bit, but do y'all recomend a good bottom watering to get the roots started in their new home?

thanks
Landis

Will do. Trying hard not to put too much thought into this, but there's just too much knowledge out there to pass up:)

The plants will almost "tell you" when they need watering. For me, I notice the leaves aren't as "perky" as they usually are. When this happens, I pour some water into the bottom of the tray and usually within an hour or two I can tell the difference.
