WC 2010

You beat me to it millworkman. I can see many sleepless nights ahead. Man my head hurts from those vuvuzelas, I guess I'll get used to it by the end. Bring on an Auatralia/USA rematch in the second round....

Just watched the second half of the SA/MEX match. Was really routing for SA in this one. At least they didn't lose lol.

I'm bummed that I might miss the big US/ENG match tomorrow because I will probably be at the beach all day.

Mexico dominated first half but couldn't finish. A draw was probably a fair result. Was a good game to watch if you can block out the swarm of angry wasps....

Was an awesome game to watch. I wish I was in Aussie-land so I could stay up to watch games, instead they are all early morning and afternoon, which is ok since I can sit in class and watch on the puter.

You guys watch soccer? Americans? Wow, who knew?

I've got a buddy originally from Ireland and he's a soccer fanatic. Doesn't matter what I'm watching if he comes by first thing he does is change the channel to find a match.

Tell your buddy he has my sympathies for not qualifying. Most Aussies are uncultured too and won't watch ;)

Watched the Mexico/ South africa game. Good one!. Will be grabing some cold ones to watch Uruguay/France game this aft.
Cant wait to watch the US/England game tomorrow should be a doozie.

Got into it a few years ago. Used to work with a lot of international students at the university. Its a lot more fun to play, IMO. If more Americans liked it we might have a really competitive team ha!

I'll pick USA over England any day but they have their work cut out for them.

Def have their work cut out for them. Looks like England will have a couple players out though, so this is our chance to catch them off balance early before they get all their chemistry going.

Missed the first half. Just got it up via espn3.com, and gotta give it to em. The stream is crystal clear and no interuptions at all. This is going to make work over the next month so much more pleasant!

Yea, thought they were going to pull it off one man up. Pretty weak effort by Henry in the end, although the wall had some sick ups! Can't believe Forlan missed the strike in the box off the set play too. Shoulda bagged that one.

Day 1 done and two draws. Man, I need some goals!

I have been looking forward to today for a long time now :)

France has been playing poorly the last few years which is strange if you look at their players. Some are among the best of the world.

If the USA can play like they did at the confederations cup last year they can beat England.

Monday is when it really starts for me with the game against Denmark :)
