For those of you that are selling through e-commerce from your website. Any recommendations for help on building websites? Anyone have experience with Squarespace or Shopify?
I had Square and just switched to Shopify. Square is great for POS but it's web shop tools seem to be more of an afterthought. I think Shopify was made for web, and added POS. Shopify is definitely a better platform IMO for a web store (you can see mine at hellfirefarm.com - it's pretty basic, not a lot of fancy design).
I used shopify for a couple of years. It was pretty easy to use, but I never could get the shipping module to work correctly - probably due more to my ignorance rather than their software.
I use WordPress with WooCommerce, Square for merchant account (also use it as POS), ClickShip for real-time shipping rates. Many other various plugins, but my background is web development, so I have an advantage there.
