I have no idea but maybe y'all can help I.D. this pepper. I started from seed back in Feb, a slow growing plant but really took off when we got cooler weather.

That is a good question, they smell hot .
As much as I would like to try one i cannot for health concern
I was diagnosed with stomach cancer this past Tuesday.
Can these be frozen? as I would like to use the peppers
sometime after surgery when I'm back on my feet.

Most peppers can be frozen, I dry mine in a dehydrator, you can do a simple touch and taste with out eating it, to tell if it is hot or sweet, sorry to hear about you health problems, Make sure you are cleared about eating anything spicy after you get healed up.
