What is causing this?

OK, this is my first year growing chillis, and it's all going pretty well.

However, I've got big problems with two of my plants - both Lanterns.

The two plants are in separate rooms, and the other plants on the same windowsills are unaffected.

All the plants are watered around the same and are being kept under the same conditions.

For the Lanterns, the leaves are developing brown splotches and going a pale green, then dropping off.

Pictures below - anyone know what's causing this?

Thats normal for older, larger leaves near the bottom of the plant. At the end of their life, before they fall off, they get pretty roughed up in appearence.

Glad to hear that this is normal - I was worrying that it was something nasty which would spread to the rest of my plants.

The leaves are reasonably big, but those photos are in close up so they appear a lot bigger than they really are.

Also, my plants don't go outside - they are in pots on the window sill.
