The largest I've grown are still on the plant.  Hoping they'll ripen soon!
 
Edit: Pretty much all the pods on this plant (~20) are this big.  It keeps wanting to throw out more, but I'm picking them off so it can concentrate on the full size ones already on there, since my season is quickly coming to an end.

Judy, These seeds were from you, but my pods are not elongated at all like most of the others I am seeing around. Do you have two phenotypes of Brown 7 pots? (not Douglahs)

yes i have more than one strain each year i develop newer strains that are bigger/hotter/more productive... ect.

yellow scorpion cardi's have been my biggest thus far. there are some huge 7 pot browns this year too though.

My 7 Pot Yellow Large pods have been massive, about half again the size of those Congos.

WEST INDIAN RED HABS they were around i would guess 2 1/2 inches round,there designed to be large, i read that they were another creation from CARDI in Jamaica  for sauce making ,larger fruit more yield

yeah your right they do get huge!!
this year it had to be TIGER TEETH HAB some were 5 inches long and 7/8 inch wide NIGEL DID A REVIEW WITH ONE OF THEM
and he stuffed the whole thing in his mouth at once!!  way to go Nigel!!
