I was checkin for aphids and came across this bug. it makes a snapping sound when it jumps to fly away

THESE LIL GUYS ARE ALL OVER MY PUMPKINS GONNA TRY TO MOVE SOME TO THE PEPPERS. THOUGHT I WAS GONNA HAVE TO BUY THEM(THEY ARE BREEDING TOO)

Is the pic bad or is that "lady bug" orange. Isn't that an asian beatle......death to all asain beatles!!!!
 
The "fungus gnat" is an adult (Alate/Winged) aphid.

"Asian Beatles" are actually a species of ladybug (or Ladybird Beetle), and they do prey on aphids. Their real common name is Asian Multicolored Ladybug. They do have the unfortunate habit of deciding by the thousands that our homes make good hibernating cites, they also are more likely to bite than native ladybugs, but they are still ladybugs, and they are still great predators! There are a whole lot of misconceptions in regards to these guys. Look up Harmonia axyridis. By the way, I'm not saying the one in the photo is an AML.
