What is this little guy?

Was out checking out the plants when I noticed this little critter on the bottom of a leaf.

Any ideas what it is or if it's a danger to the plants?

I left it where it was for now until I know what it is or I see it munching on peppers

Lady bug - there is an aphid just beside it too...FED IT!

Its not a ladybug, it was soft bodied. I do have ladybugs everywhere on my plants though

Weird, mine are just like that prior to becoming shelled, like a soft shell crab.

Ah awesome, thanks guys. Well that is the first juvenile ladybug I've ever seen. Glad I left him/her there

Looks like he was heading right for that Aphid also

Om nom nom. Funny, I have never seen one in that stage. Of course, up until about 5 years ago I had never noticed the larvae either, now I see the aphid-gators all the time.
