This is probably really hard to answer without pics. I'll bring my camera to work tomorrow and post a pic.
So I am eating lunch and a friend of mine arrives in the room, carrying a bag of what he described as Thai Peppers. I was eager to try one, as Thai's reportedly have 100,000 + scovilles. I ate one, about 2/3 down to the stem. It was very weak, less hot than a Jalapeno or Serrano. My guess was not more than 2,000 scovilles. The pods were cayenne type shapes, and long, probably around 4 to 6 inches. They were bright red. They were also thick, but I suspect they were a little waterlogged, having been in the refrigerator.
Without pics, any idea on what type of peppers these are?
