pests whats this bug?

its been pretty crappy weather in syd latley, so i brought my baby's inside for the night.

I notice a single spiders strand on one of my chillis so i flick it away and... this bug jumps out.
Its tiny but it jumps a good 30cm a time. taking a photo wasnt easy - but i have no idea what it is. All other plants are bug free...but what is it ?

good work bennoz!! i use a wooden spoon to squash bugs but i reckon a beer bottle would work just as well!

Could be gas, the fire is simply from the chillis he ate.

yeah the little fella jumped a mile (for all the good it did him mwhahahaha)
those have to be little hairs on his back. Wish i had a macro lense on my camera
