What's this?

I'm not sure what to say other than hopefully this isn't bacterial/viral. I've had a ton of ants this year for some reason, and I'm afraid either they (or the pests they've been protecting) have brought on some kind of disease. I've stripped less-than-stellar leaves off of a couple nursery plants, but this showed up on my overwintered reaper plant. This was only on one leaf as far as I could tell.

Anyway, does anyone know what this could be?

The rest of the plant is fairly normal aside from some rippled(?) leaves. Also some slight yellowing, but they're due for a feeding. I'm just concerned because of some not-so-great leaves on some of my other, much smaller plants. Though, now that I'm looking again, I'm thinking it may be some kind of pest. I'll put images in a spoiler because there are quite a few.

Doing some more research, some of the Shabu Shabu leaves look kind of like broad mites (I've only seen photos)
