health What's wrong with my plants?

It may be hard to tell, but the places that are not as green have almost become transparent. All my plants are doing this. I think I didn't harden them off enough perhaps

They are dropping leaves like crazy. I think most may die

I think you're correct, my first reaction is sunburn.

These looked like mine did after accidental 10 hour direct-sun bake on their first week of hardening off or so.  
 
We took them back inside and let them heal.  They're much greener now, and I've picked off a lot of those wrecked, shrivelled sunburnt leaves.  (I had conflicting advice on whether or not to do this...but I did anyway because there was significant growth elsewhere and didn't think one leaf would hurt too much)

Yep sunburn, just like mine. They probably won't die even if you burn them down to a stick. Will shoot new growth from the sides.
