white stuff on leafs

wen't to go give the jolokia's a trim and i discovered this

Can you wipe it off or is it actually part of the plant now? It's hard to tell if it's a fungus or not from the pics.

I had that on a Lemorange tree back out in LA. I use some nasty chemical to get rid of it if I recall correctly.

no i cant wipe it off it is part of the plant i need to get rid of it asap before bring them in for the winter i cut the leafs off that had the most on it ive also have been spraying it with
soapy water with tea

Wow, those are some fantastic closeups IGROW. I'm not positive but that kinda looks like the beginings of powdery mildew

I'd spray with a fungicide like Daconil.

I haven't heard that one in a while. The stuff works great for controlling fungus and mildew, just make sure you are not spraying near a pond with any fish, cuz ya wont have any fish when you are done.

Have the tops of the leaves started to change a slight brownish color? I think it is powdery mildew. It normally starts as white spots and progresses to a brownish color on the tops of the leaves. I'd treat it quick as powdery mildew can kill a plant in a relatively short period of time.
