- 4 cups cooked wild rice, about 1 cup uncooked - soak the rice overnight will be good enough
- 2 lb ground beef
- 1 very large onion chopped
- 8 pieces of bacon
- 1 can (1 lb) of kidney beans, drained
- 1 lb baked beans w/juices
- 1/2 cup of ketchup
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tsp mustard
- less than half of a small package of pepperoni (optional)
- I add chiles to my own plate, but if other people dont mind hot chiles then add those to the dish for cooking. also I add BBQ sauce to my plate after done cooking but you could add some to the dish for cooking.
prepare wild rice
brown the ground beef w/onion & bacon, drain the fat if wanted. break up the bacon into small pieces.
combine all the ingredients in a lightly greased dish, mix it up.
bake uncovered at 350 degrees about 40 mins. or until its nicely browned
