Woolsey's 2012 grow log

Year 2 of pepper growing officially began on 1-8-2012, lets hope for a better year this year with more patience and less heat from the texas sun! This year I have 13 different peppers, germinating 4 of each, unless otherwise noted.

Everything is in coco, in a 72 cell greenhouse set up, on a heating pad. Only 6 days in and we already have some action from the Datils and the Devil's Tongue! Here is some porn for ya, more to come!

Stuff is popping over here! Today marks 1 week exactly since my seeds went under and I have 5 of the 13 varieties stretching their cots. So far I have Datils, Red Devil's Tongue, Peruvian White Habs, 7pot Jonah, and AJ Red Bhut all above ground. Yes, that's right, 2 supers germinated for me in one week! To get technical I noticed the Jonah last night, so 6 1/2 days. Here are some pics.

The one on the left is the AJ Red Bhut, and the one on the right is the Jonah

Ok, today marks 13 days into my 2012 season and here is my progress so far

Still have Bondas, ylw bhut, numex espanola improved, sonoran chile tepin(wild), and manzano that have yet to show themselves. I also should be getting a seed packet in today that has seeds that were wild picked(habs) around chichen itza in the yucatan! Going to do my best to keep those pods pure, but have never bagged anything before so any and all advice on that topic is greatly appreciated.
