World War II Photos, Pacific

Some really great photos!! some are unbelievable!! Kind of ironic. I have been packing and sorting through a bunch of stuff yesturday and I just found all the old newspapers my mom and dad saved from 1941-1945.....and from 1964 and 1969.....and a bunch of pics from WWII, my Dad served in WWII and Korea
 
Thanks for posting the link Dick. Those are amazing photos. Being in today's Navy, I couldn't imagine how hectic something like that would be. It seems like things get hectic here and there for us, but it is nothing in comparison to those scenes.
