After the recent post for an ID, this has sparked a bit of interest. After digging for a few hours I could only find very vague references of peppers from the region. It seems it would be a decent ground for native peppers. Going to do some more digging but does any one have any references or data on peppers from Xela (apparently the common term) or the surrounding regions?
