I just received this in the mail today from Mayhem Brothers. 20 datils…a mixture of ripe and half ripe peppers. I’m gonna find out what a true datil is all about compared to the Bakers Creek datils I’ve been growing for three years lol. I’m curious if the true datil is all it’s cracked up to be. Will soon find out

well I ate one. What can I say. It was ok. I liked it but not sure I liked it any better than a good old habanero. The bakers creek datils definitely have a better flavor. I’m gonna make some hot sauce this weekend with them and I will see how the flavor compares to the same recipe I made a couple weeks ago using dried Bc datils from last year.
