Yet another Please Identify this pepper thread

A waiter at my local Chinese restaurant gave me these. They were in a store bought Tupperware container, simply labeled "hot chiles." I ate 3/4 of one, taking it in in one bite. It was decently hot. I estimate 50,000 - 60,000 scovilles. It had an initial sweetness, but was not very flavorful. No pain in mouth or back of the throat. The only thing that hurt was my tongue. What types of pepper are these?

If they were hot like you said; dry them seeds out and grow em! But yeah they look like Thai. I just potted up 11 of them tonight. Thais are great for eating with just the right amount of kick and flavor. Sometime, it doesn't have to melt your palate to be good!
