Youngling's

Here are my "Younglings" on the windowsill.
I restarted some after my 1st try "failures".
Doing things different this time. No water till
the soil is dry, little to no ferts, and I am doing
the lights differently. from dawn til dusk they get
real sun from the sill then about 8pm til 2 am
under the light strip then back to sill to wait
for dawn plus I give them breeze alot(which I didnt
do the 1st try). So these should grow alot better
this time around (hopefully).they are left to right
C.R. Hab Numex ??? Bolivian Rainbow Burning Bush
Jalapeno and Serrano. the little cup to the far
left is another B. Bush that just popped that had
the seed encased but it came off fine and it is
going to G/F's Mother.Again thank to all of you
for the seeds and great advice over the last few
Months it has helped a ton
opps you can only see the rim of the far left cup:lol:
and the leggy Jalapeno was moved into its bigger cup
today and buried deeper into the cup to cover half its
stem like the C.R. Hab:)

Tom,

FWIW, I've taken to filling the cup only about halfway with potting soil and once the plant starts growing, if it gets leggy adding PS to the cup. But, since I shifted to the 23 watt, 2700K CFL bulbs and now to a 226 bulb LED light, I don't get any legginess at all. The canopy and stem seem to be about the same size, with the canopy maybe ahead by a few hairs.

Tom, if it were me I would repot now, they look a bit leggy. harden them off now and get them in full sun as soon as you can.

Ty for the advice I will do that but, I can only get them into bigger cups for now as I ran out of 5 gal buckets gotta see
if G/F can get some more or I will have to go to ace hardware
saw some 4 gallon plastic trash buckets there that were $1.00
:)

Why not lose the soil idea all together? You have enough room for a Deep Water Culture setup.
So cheap and easy, like a good date. :)
