Zone 6a planting

Are there any other zone 6a grower that could tell me when they start their next years seed crop? I normally get my Annuums started around the beginning of March. What's everyone else doing out there???

I think I'm zone 8??not sure, But I look at last mean freeze date , which is April 5th here, Or ...when lows are 50's+. Whichever comes first!
