So it seems I have a plant that grew a few inches in 2 days, now I have roots all tangled and wondered what everyone else does. I think I need to pot these guys up, the root system is massive.

I jus use it for starts and thats what it sounds like you are doing.
I have found that the roots become almost impossible to untangle
once you let them go to far. Recently, I have been attempting to segregate to roots by easing them away from eachother daily. It seems to delay it, but not by much.

If you're careful and the roots aren't too tangled though a little patience can go a long way

I just pull and weave . They never seem to have a problem even if a few roots are lost .
