    Howdy neighbor!! There's a few active members from this area. Texas Hot Peppers is up in Anna. @Dougthehead stays somewhere close to you. Not the best but not the worst place to grow peppers.

    Chicago hardy fig is known to do well in colder climates. Right now is not the ideal time to take cuttings but I'm sure they're available. I've had good luck on Etsy with various seeds and cuttings.

    Look at Stainless steel brew kettles but 20qt is probably the smallest you're going find with those features.

    Sure does! McCormick has long specialized in flavors. The simple fact that they use it in their products tells me that extracts are useful. On a commercial scale consistency is probably more important than anything else and extracts help achieve a certain Heat/flavor balance that people expect...
