THP 8th Anniversary Bash...

Burger Royale

Round 3 is Alternative Burgers

An alternative burger is a patty of ground animal protein other than beef. No beef may be used in your patty or on your burger in any way. Again, NO BEEF!

To qualify as a burger it must be on a bun. Alternatives are welcome, as long as bread is on both sides. This means two pieces, no wrapping, etc.

Your burger must be presented on a plate with no other ingredients. This is a burger TD and one will not win because of killer sweet potato fries.

With the two picture maximum, one assembled (a proper built burger pic) and one cut in half (to see all the layers) is highly recommended.

Cooking methods, burger toppings, this is all up to you. Anything goes. Be creative.

Weekend 3: No Beef, No Veggie Burgers (other animal protein) - Voting for Best Alternative Burger
Weekend 4: Best Burger - No cooking. A poll with the 3 winners to determine the Best Burger

My Chorizo/beef burger didn't qualify in week 1,2 and now, week 3.
It's my favorite burger with 1/3 pork Chorizo and 2/3 ground chuck.

Ahhh well. I'll either figure out another way to dominate this TD, or I'll just get piss drunk.

Or both.

I love making a chorizo burger I use 50/50 ground chuck and beef chorizo. Izzzzzz goooood

Never heard of it.

Okay mix it with eggs and bacon and make a tex-mex brekky burger.

Cover it in queso.

The chorizo our butcher makes is awesome but seriously rich. I'm liking your idea tho. Eggs duh...

I was going to be using kangaroo tenderloin but a ten pound min. At 18$ a pound was a little much

high gluten wheat flour, and rye flour...along with the other stuff there...with a spoonful of morouga powder.

All this doughing, and beering, and produce hunting...gotta pee...

Chef Bacon-Face is shedding a garlic tear for the deliciousness to follow.
