Just ordered some Comfrey

Hey hey, I am about to order some too! Will need to be discreetly shipped to Japan though...
Really? Is it illegal there? I had some seeds discretely sent to me recently as well. ;)

Grows like a weed and bumblebees love it.
I don't want to let it get to the flowering stage as that's when the leaves lose their potency. :)

It probably is not legal, but whatever :-D.  I am having my parents pack the root cuttings into a package they are sending me.

They do sell seeding varieties of Russian Comfrey here, but can't find the sterile varieties anywhere so I am having to import them so to speak.

My ten Comfrey crown cuttings arrived the other day and I will be planting them tomorrow. I'm going to have even better compost once I start adding the Comfrey leaves. :)

We've been using comfrey for years (like 35is) in a simple olive oil/beeswax salve(sometimes some goldenseal). Cures diaper rash in a heart beat. Makes a great KY gel substitute too. Good burn medicine too.
It has lots of goodies in it, like B-12 which is rare in plants.
But I lost our start of it when we moved into to woods 20+ years ago and quit gardening. I got some off a friend last year and I may to divide it up this year if I can find a place or places to expand it.

Is rust resistance the only plus on the Bock 4 variety. Coe's picture looks like my stuff.
