heat What is the sample size needed to get an accurate scoville rating?

I have heard people say you can have a single pepper tested and others have talked about needing several ounces of material to test that would have to come from several peppers. Has anyone had a test done recently that they can give me a good idea on how much material I'm going to need. Since it is the hottest time of the year, and I am keeping my greenhouse a little hotter this year, I'm working on some experiments to make what might end up being a new record heat level. Anybody have an idea from personal experience on this? Thanks, Tom

Thanks Datil, this is exactly what I was needing and it sounds like I don't need pile peppers to make a good sample. The other test I'll have to do is get Nigel to try some of peppers and see what he had to say.:)
