winland's *not a glog for 2015

This is my first year growing from seed.
Not sure that I want to start a full blown Grow Log, so this will be a start.

I have a rack that has 5 usable shelves, 6 if I want to hang a light from the ceiling.
I figure I can get a total of 20 seed flats, 4 on each shelf.
The lights are 6 bulb T5's 6500k

I have just started filling a few seed flats with Jiffy pods.
I have wet them down and letting them "grow".
I have turned on the center 2 lights in the light fixtures and placed a small thermometer in one of the flats.
It is showing 80F, so the Jiffy pods are warming up nicely before I plant some seeds on Saturday.

I love that wire shelving unit for growing peppers. I just bought one like it, except it's chrome colored. It's very versatile.

That's quite the list for your first year growing from seed. Good luck with your grow! I have a slightly shorter version of the same shelf for growing indoors and it seems to work quite well!

Over the past week I have gotten 12 flats of pepper seeds planted, 36 seeds per flat
I am using the T5 lights as warmth and keeping the seeds at 85 - 90 degrees F.

Tonight when I went to spray (moisten) the Jiffy Pellets, I found signs of LIFE,

Found a half dozen different seeds had broken ground that were planted on Monday, 1/12/15
Jimmy Nardello
Habanero de Arbol
Urfa Biber
Brigit's Lacoto
pimenta Trepidiera Do Werner
Aji Fantasy
