Fish Pepper Leaves

My fish pepper leaves are looking quite normal and lacking any variegation. They are indoors for now (since it is cold and snowy outside) under T8s. The plants are about 5 weeks old and completely green. I have 2 fish peppers on the go and they both are the same. Is it luck of the draw for getting variegation, do they need more time or do I need to do something else to them to get it? My purple tigers have been showing variegation since their first set of true leaves.

Healthy looking plant you have.  I am trying to remember from last year.  Thinking it might take the plant a little more time to go varigated.  I think it takes more time.  Really.  Here is mine from last year.

Thanks for the responses. I'm hoping that it gets variegated leaves at some point. I suppose time will tell once the peppers appear as to whether it really is a fish pepper. The seeds are from a reputable source.
 
It may still show varigation. But fish peppers are notorious for crossing with other stuff. It's a real fluzzy. The parent plant may have been fish but it may have crossed with something during pollination.
 
Mine variegated before the size of those this year. One also grew about 2' vertically before branching. Some are more or less variegated as well.
 
The plant that I posted now has a pod growing on it and it is looking more cayenne-ish. My other fish pepper plant (from the same pack of seeds) is showing variegation now though!
