Hi ppl,
So, this is the Growing Log for my peppers! I've recently grown in interest on nuclear hot peppers so I decided to grow my own!
I bought a pack of seeds from an online retailer here with 40+ seeds, 10 of each of these kinds:
Peppers as of: february 28th/2016
First seed to ripe: march 11th/2016 (day 12)
First babies: march 13th/2016 (day 14)
Growing...: march 18th/2016 (day 19)
First pair of 'real' leaves!: march 21th/2016 (day 22)
Some new sprouts, more growing: march 28th/2016 (day 29)
This day I put some water gel particles to keep the soil hydrated during the Easter holidays (I was away from home during the 4 day holiday)
So we get to today: april 7th/2016 (day 39)
And this is where my seeds are located, since I'm in Brazil and I don't have the risk of frost any time of the year, I just leave them by the balcony . Also, temperature here generally ranges from 15ºC to 25ºC.
Oh, I'd like to ask if any of you knows what this guy is. It resembles the peppers but it seems to grow a lot faster and has a little matte aspect... I'm thinking if I should remove it... Since this is on my balcony where it is open, I'm receiving some guests... I'll try and take a picture to show you and ask if they're harmful or not
Well. That's it for now! If you have any tips to help grow these guys faster, stronger or better in any way please send me! I'm a total newbie on this 'growing plants thing' but I'm kinda hooked to it. Love arriving home and checking how the peppers are going!
