7 Pod skin porn..

Dunno UnNatural... Kinda look like there might have been some other genes in there. All of mine have the scorpionish rounded tail shape from birth. Even still, they've got at least half their genes from this plant that's supposed to be absolutely nuclear according to PRF. Seems he's grown Bhuts and other superhots, and he still claims they're the hottest thing he's put in his mouth. What I'm getting at is that even if you have a cross, you've still got something on the superhot plane. Keep us updated as they get bigger, cause the wrinkles and pimples may take time to appear. I'm sure someone will have isolated brain seeds soon too if need be!

There's a slight pimpling you don't really see in the pictures but it does seem to be a little different. Good chance its a cross because there is a bit of pod shape variance on a single plant. I have 5 plants growing from these seeds, just have to wait and see what comes of it. Either way i have no doubt in my mind i'll be more than happy with what i get!

OMG - I ate some

Everything Cappy said is true! I thought he might have been exaggerating about the heat but he wasn't. (Sorry I doubted you buddy!) My method of comparison is always the same, stick it in a can of tuna with a little mayo and onion to make it tolerable, enjoy and note results. I just had half of one of my Fatabanero's (a cross of Fatalii & Habanero) a few days ago and that lit me up pretty good. Then yesterday, I had one fourth of a large Bhut (over 3 inches) and that didn't do much damage at all, very pleasant, good heat and great flavor. Hardly broke a sweat. The Cappy 7 Pot "brain strain" doesn't have the flavor of the Bhut IMO, but for heat, no comparison. I had one fourth of this little monster pictured below and it crushed me. Mouth on fire for 20 minutes. Profuse forehead sweat. Burn going all the way down the esophagus and into the stomach. An hour later, noticeable stomach burn and then, shortly thereafter, the exit strategy commenced with predictable destruction. All that from eating just 1/4th! I'm not a newbie, I've been eating hot peppers for many years. That's it, if there is a hotter pepper on the planet than this, I want nothing to do with it. Next year, I'm growing milder peppers. I'll overwinter my big 7 Pot, but like Cappy said, you only need one of these plants. Jeez, I'm going to start drinking beer now and it's early. I hope to feel better soon.

The spawn from hell:

those 7 pod brain strains sound unreal, anyone have a few seeds to spare or trade? I'd love to grow alot Of different stains of 7 pods and Trinidad Scorpions for comparison.

Excellent bigT! So glad to hear that these little fireballs are as ungodly as they've been billed. Now you've got me wondering what the hell to DO with them. HAHA!

What was the flavor like though (if you could taste it :lol)? Habish? Bhutish?

It was more Habish. It's not the the king of flavor, just heat. But it had a short lived pleasant taste before all hell broke loose.

Be careful what you wish for!

Thanks for the great grow and report Tony. I feel so much better that I not the only one anymore. They are in my book hands down the world hottest chili. They are almost inedible to me anymore they are so damn hot. Now we need AJ to verify.

Damn bigt that bad eh? One question for you if I may, are you going to eat the rest of that pod?

Cappy you need to get a fund raiser going and get these baby's tested. I can see it now, new Guiness Book of World Record Pepper, the Cappy 7 Pot Brain Strain.

May I have your autograph good sir?

UnNatural...the 7 pot seeds that you got from TCG are my homegrown from last year...the seeds came from Trinihottie...not the brain strain...

it should be a good producer...and the pods are on the large side too...

Yes, but cooked in something to lessen the heat. Either that or I'll have more fresh in much smaller pieces. Should be enough for a week. That thing was still agitating me 12 hours later.

Hi everyone, Has anybody got any brain strain for swap or offer in kindness

If you have please pm me or reply here.

Im in England by the way and should have some stuff I can send you if required

Glad your feeling better today Tony, you cannot say that I didn't warn you. The only use that I have found is one pod per pot for sauce, extract hot without the metallic taste. I have seed just extracted from pods off the mother plant, available only by SASE. These really are the holy grail of heat in the pepper world. Not to be eatten raw, not even Neil. A shot of a few 7 Pods just picked this morning.:hot:

Thanks for clarifying AJ. The plants are big (over 4' tall) pods and flowers everywhere! Thanks for sharing ;)

OK, I have no business growing something so awesome but this is an offer I can't refuse. I shall PM you good sir. If nothing else I can promise to grow them just for the sake of growing them and figure out what to use them for later. Maybe by then I'll be worthy enough to consider a tasting one.
