Phytosanitary Certificate

I ran into problems shipping seeds to England. They wanted one of these silly things. The seeds were destroyed.

You find out which countries are picky and which ones are not. England can be picky. Australia and New Zealand are the worst. South Africa doesn't care about non CITES materials, but your shipment might get stolen. Rats might eat your seeds going to India. All kinds of fun things you find out that aren't in any manual.

Try to do business with endangered species. Those regulations are nothing compared to dealing with federal fish and wildlife!

That subject came up here once for getting protected pepper seeds out of the S. American countries. I suggested getting a bird importation license/permit and letting the bird eat all the seeds you want that they wanted. Bring them into the country and let nature run its course.
