Anyone with half a brain knows it's a primo..lol and that guy that sent out fake seeds you gotta be crazy to ever order anything from that dude again.

Glad to see you're keeping your hand in D... even if you're not getting too ambitious. +1 on #10... anybody who can grow as well as you do at your latitude definitely has their shit straight.


Hi Rick thanks for stopping by. This year was up in the air due to my mother being really sick and taking care of her and getting married in a couple months it didn't look like I had time or the ambition. But I guess I couldn't get away from growing a few of my favorites no matter what. All the best to you and yours.


I love shishito peppers. I think I have about 7 or 8 going this year. I love the bleeding calyx too. Any chance I might be able to score some seeds on a trade? Probably too late to start them now but maybe next year..
Edit: any pics of what the plants look like? All my shishito have the slender leaves. Be interesting to see how that crossed with the chinense.

If you look in my glog from last season you should see some of the plants. They were all slightly different from each other in the F1 stage, so the F2's should be really interesting and all over the place. I don't have any seed as I planted all of them to try and find something really cool in the F2 stage. Cheers

I did grow the HRS x MP last year malarky and I had a few really nice pheno's pop up. I really enjoy growing F2's because of all the diversity you get between offspring.  When I find the "one" I can't live without I will try and bring it into a stable variety.  Cheers

I put some seeds in dirt today, had been debating if I was going to grow at all this year. Cutting way back just for this season and will be back to ludacris speed next season hopefully. Lot's of stuff going on and not a lot of time this year for peppers.  Anyway best of luck to everyone this season and I will be updating this when I have time. Keep it green my friends.

Whats the andouille?
Here in north texas we have a lot of LA/NOLA transplants.
They mostly prefer and like the Zummo's brand.
Holmes Andouille is by far the more popular amongst other texans.

It was something I picked up at the farmers market here Saturday. Local farm that makes a bunch of really nice stuff. They have a mild and a spicy, the spicy has a really nice kick to it and they use there own hot peppers for it.

FB's cana get a vote for these wings?      
Wings were tossed with two handfuls of cape cod sweet and spicy jalapeno kettle chips that I spun around in the spice grinder. Let them sit for 10 minutes then fried them in peanut oil at around 325°F until golden brown and crispy.   These really didn't need any sauce, I was really surprised at how good the light coating of chips were.  But since this was about the sauce...
Sauce was 1/3 cup of franks red hot heated and mixed with two tsp of cana oil. the cana oil is made from organic Maine blackberry Kush with coconut oil.  Two tsp of the cana oil is just enough for a great body buzz and slight giggle, not enough to send you to the stink bug moon.

These were really good, but all my wings are gone and now I have the munchies...lol

This is the best "new" beer that bissell has put out. First time I went back to the brewery two days in a row to have it on tap so I could try and save my cans a little longer..lol  Same make up of the one off nuclear whim with a fuse of a mile just changed the hops up do to not being able to get anymore south African hops.
