HK I am hungry after seeing those pics.  That is my kind of cook.  In fact, If you look back at my history in this thread, I promise you will find that exact cook a half a dozen times.  I would love to try the rub you have perfected.  Care to sell a spice bottle of it?  Great work man.  I was also taken aback at first when you said you had cans of bourbon.  Then I saw it was the Jack n cole

Good business idea there my friend   The rub contains 3 secret, yet obvious ingredients :D I've found myself fingering it while hungry for snacks and it's almost all gone, but not to worry, was easy to make and have it memorised off the top of my head.

Tonight's bbq while drinking. Goddamint it took me 2 tries to start the coal thanks the stupid billion km/h winds, honestly this is the windiest town in the universe the freaking coals did not light so had to get my white lighter cubes out again and they all crumbled to shit and the remaining intact ones blew overboard in Hurricane Dickface and now I have jet fuel crumbs all over my deck

second time lucky the coals were roaring like a bitch in no time but delayed my cooking so had to cook while me shows on TV were on at the same time, and I forgot to put the jalapenos on so the bacon wasnt as crisp as I wanted it

Pic of my bbq rub which I invented while drinking. Better than any spice in the supermarket, infact I'm fingering it right now while drinking. Now my tongue stings like hell. Herp de derp

That chicken!  Everything looks great HK.  :)

I saw it in the shops for $4 so I thought what the hell ;)  Turned out so juicy with the skin having a bit of crisp, bloody hell cooking over coals and wood is the only way to go.

A few days ago i stopped by a Chilean butchers and grabbed a few things for the footy grand final bbq at a mates place... we had so much food these didnt make end up making it.... so using up the last of it today.... on the left is their longanizas and on the right is their Colombian chorizo....

Just slicing it up..... onto small bread rolls with pebre, which is a simple spicy Chilean salsa.....

This next one isnt my picture but i did get some of these ribs called Costillas Alinados..... which the butcher explained to me was the ribs and belly in one cut.... they are marinaded in Aji Merken among other things, which they use in their chorizos too.... they were incredible.....

Goddamn nearly 3 grand   sounds like it was worth it though  :D
