My two Hybrids...

10 February 2019 - 01:05 AM

These are my two hybrids that I have been working on.

The first one I call SS Moruga F4 (Sulpher Scorpion Moruga).

The second one is Jaxson Ghost Pepper F3.

Both will be red...eventually

Moruga or 7 Pod

Greetings...

Can you guys tell what kind of chilli this is...I know it's not a Scorpion, so it's either a Moruga or some type of 7 Pod ???

Crossing

07 August 2014 - 06:30 AM

Hello...

I know this has been asked b4, but after reading it, it didn't answer the specific questions that I have...So I thought I would ask and maybe someone can clear it up for me..spamease.

If you take say Scorpion "A" and cross it with say Scorpion "B"...you will get the seeds from that which will be F1 Scorpion ("AB"). I get that part. And I have done that.

Now it's the next part that doesn't make sense to me, so if some one could explain it to me please :

I plant the F1 ("AB") seeds, and when that grows. I read somewhere to cross it back with either Scorpion "A" or Scorpion "B" again. Or can I cross it with a whole diferent one say Scorpion "C" to have "AB.C" ?  Somewhere it said to cross F1 with F1 to get mutations, somewhere else it stated not to...so I am confussed about the matter.

Also, can I cross F1 with another F1 where both share one same strain ? ie  F1 (Scorpion A.B) with (Scorpion A.C) ?

To anyone who can answer this, I thank you...

Mutations ?

Greetings...

I have planted a bunch of scorpions this year, icluding a reaper.  The reaper as a seedling was really struggling to take off for a long time, but once it did, it done so with 3 stems...

I was just wondering if anyone else has had this happen or seen it ?  Is it a mutation or ?

The photo I posted has two stems/tips, as the third one is hidden beneath one of the big leaves...The whole plant is about 5 or 6 cm high.
