shade Dabbled Sunlight Question

This will be the first season growing in containers on patio. In the morning i get 4 hours (8:00am - 12:00pm) direct sunlight. From noon until sun goes down, about 7:30pm, I get this dabbled sunlight due to my deck railing:

I know that afternoon shade is preferred (i live in Texas - HOT!) but am i going to get enough sunlight to produce adequate amount of fruit?

Looks good to me. Although mid to late summer you may want to rig up some shade cloth over them.

Where I am, when it gets to the mid 90s F bright shade would almost be preferable to full sun. I wound up moving stuff mostly to full morning sun, full afternoon shade. I think your situation will be excellent.

This is for pots; I believe plants in ground are more resilient to heat.

Your peppers seem to be doing OK, but you need to get those planters out of direct contact with the deck.

Any kind of potted plant in direct contact with wood decking will surprise you with how quickly it can lead to deterioration.

There's lot's of simple solutions for getting them off the wood. It's best to leave as much breathing room as possible for the wood.

Are you saying the sun only dabbles in light as a hobby? OH DAPPLED! LOL! 😂😁
