Cover Pic is supposed to be a Jamaican Red Hab form PaulG seed sowed lasted season leaves turn a dark purple when in the sun & as seen in cover pic a dark green when not
I am tentatively calling it Jamaican Threat as it possibly a trippapaul crossed with the Ja have.
Time will tell but I dig the plant .

Red Bell & cubanelle

Thanks Paul the same to you this season.
I got my seeds I ordered form baker creek white hot peppers .
Justin put in the red as scotch brains & pale yellow goat brains as free freebies .
The yellow goat brains are isolated .
Two packs of Zapotecs ,agastache hyssop ,black cherry tomato & as a freebie merlot lettuce form baker creek
I also picked up some good container sunflower varieties & some petite orange marigolds
The herbs & flowers have been work great bringing in pollinators & other beneficial insects .

Curious to see what your red scotch brains will turn out like. I grew them in the 2022 season and I got some really big yellow pods...

This is the site where I first found this pepper
I since found it other places

I found other sources other than than these two but it looks to be a great plant to keep year round the only threats probably being cats or aphids

Jalapeno mentions
I jalapeno that still a work in progress with plenty of jalapeno strains going into it.

I almost ordered seeds for this family heirloom Jalapeno .

I don't really see Rayados as a Jalapeno but another hotter heirloom variety of Fresno .
I know it' can be argued that Fresno is a Jalapeno & I used to think like that but not anymore
To me the plant habitat is different form Jalapenos & flavor is different as well
It at least closer related to Fresno than Jalapeno in my opinion

The zapotecs are leggy but I will plant them deep on transplant
The over winters are doing well as well the trippapaul is doing real well in the middle room will have to take a pic
