flavor Reaper x Moruga (whp)

Hi Guy's

Late in our 2024 growing season I got some Reaper x Moruga from whitehot peppers I asked Justin he reckon they were probably f4 or f5

I put them in 5 litre kratky set up it grew like a weed 🙂

These guys have been the gnarliest pod's and of very consistent phenotype

Due to the late sowing and poor season we're had most of the pods the size above, I've just ground 4 of them with a tsp of salt to add tonight's curry 😎boy these things smell HOT ! and extremely fruity indeed ! 😋

It's simmering on the stove as I type I'll be trying it soon I've high hope's ðŸĪž

I only managed to get 3 to 4 seeds out of each of the four small pod's im cooking tonight........f6 minium.

I've this big fella still on the plant 😎 hopefully plenty of seeds.

Anyone else grown these..........?

Hopefully they'll taste as good as smell ðŸĪž

Update: Delicious 😋 excellent heat and flavour used with in my Nagaland pork belly style curry, left my whole mouth all over warmth and my lips tingling for age's (used chopsticks)

Seemed much more fruity than my Primo's or Death Spiral an instant "I'll grow these again " taste, flavour and heat 👍

My 2025 Reaper x Moruga f5 in 5 litre Kratky 🙂

Not taking any chances..........got another in a smaller Kratky set up 😊 of course both can be moved into a larger container if required.

Sadly my self saved f6 seeds proved to be duds 😭 But luckily I had plenty of Justin's f5 seeds left 👍😎

I highly recommend this variety ! excellent heat and delicious 😋 this season I'm growing it instead of the Trinidad Moruga scorpion which is excellent but not as fruity.

Hi Guy's

I've just noticed the Semillas sell the own version :

RxM SLP a pepper they describe as: Carolina Reaper x Trinidad Moruga scorpion " a very hot cross brutal heat and paticularly good flavour "

Interesting they mention the paticularly good flavour 😁 😋

Hi Guy's

I loved this variety so much last season I'm growing two this season one in 20 litre kratky and 5 litre kratky I've isolated seeds from both plant's.

These my self saved seeds f6 failed 😭 but luckily I had a packet from white hot peppers f5 .......and germination was excellent.

Lots and lots of delicious hot sweet / fruity pod's 😋

Reasonably consistent a mix of Moruga like pod's and the odd fat naga like and the odd Reaper like but either way in plentiful supply 😎 loving this variety probably my best performing superhot of 2025 so far ........ðŸĪ”
