Pepper Tattoo?

Ok guys well i got some money to get a tattoo for Christmas and was wondering if you guys had any pictures or ideas of pepper tattoos.. i have 2 that i found on the internet that i was playing around with, adding my own "touch" but i thought maybe some chilli heads would have some better ideas..... here are the two i found that im messing around with...

let me give you some advice. dont do it! if you do, dont get anything like the two chessey pics you posted. the last thing you want is some small cheap tat. you will hate it in 5 years!
 
Good advice guys. When I was 17, I was determined I was getting a tat cuz my then boyfriend now husband who is 4yrs older then me was getting one. So I came up with the design of roses on my hip. I asked the artist about have kids and stretch marks and crap... I was stupid enough the believe "there is a safe zone" so now my once pretty roses aren't so pretty and its not even like roses have ever been a favorite flower of mine. I since have gotten two more one is for my daughter the other for my sister in law who passed away. I am planning on more for my other children but no more meaningless flowers and such. Good luck, its a hard decision.
 
I agree , dont do it if your not sure it will look good in 40 years.. scareing the kids with what was a unicorn.. now looks like a dragon.. or one 70 yr old i saw at the beach had sweet and sour tatooed over his nipples.. you could imagine.. saggy skin and all...ewww.
 
Everyone is different, good luck if you get one and post a picture. As far as me ... nothing goes on my body! As my beliefs and attitude change over time, plus I don't like anything permanent other than my marriage :rolleyes: That said, I spent several months surfing in Hawaii in my mid twenties and love the tattoos that the Polynesian culture uses, simple and elegant done with purpose as a form of celebration, a means of self expression and membership of their tribe & family line. If I was one of their children I would not hesitate to get one, good luck with your decision ...
 
definetly hard to decide i never got a tat cuz i wazent sure if i would still like it 20 years down the road btw the tat defcon posted is a capciasin molecule most of you know that but for those that dont, def a clever tat, :hot: lol
 
yeah scoville. i know that one is ALOT of money but i was going to scale it down a little and get it on my arm not on my side then it will pnly be a couple hundred.

yeah but look at the bright side about a tat of a hot pepper....

in 40 years he can say when asked what it is...'It's a dehydrated dried out 7 pot scorpion pod'.

having a few tats myself, you might really want to think about getting one.

And if you get one with the pepper on the plant...

just tell them....'It is one of the plants I'm Overwintering"
 
My husband got a big ass pepper tattoo on his leg and he loves it! Also, several heartbreaking dawns fans have used some of our images as tattoos which we fully support. I see you're in PA, are you close to northern NJ? If so we have a bunch of great artists we could recommend over here that do killer work. Let me know if you're interested!

A painting teacher of mine who had a couple of tattoos gave the whole class some great advice regarding them. If you can't write a multi-page essay on why you want the tattoo and what it means to you, you probably shouldn't get it as you will regret it later in life.

I'm not saying you shouldn't get one, but you definitely want to give it a whole lot of thought before you do.
 
why do people say that "your gonna hate it in so many years from now" trust if you get a tattoo has any meaning to you whatsoever your not gonna hate it, its like a little piece of your past and the person who u were at the time. i think you'll love any tattoo with meaning even if people think its crappy, p.s. the one with the pepper plant on the rib cage is super sick.
