I have not been on for awhile. The week of Oct. 10, 2011 was very exciting here. We had a rare Green Violetear Hummingbird visit the feeder we have in our garden. We had ornithologists, photographers & birders from miles away, visiting our yard for the entire week.

Crap, it got chilly out fast! I may have to cover my pepper plants tonight. I usually don't have to start covering my plants untill early or mid October.

Today it's hot out, 85° & humid, ugh. Tomorrow should be cooler & more comfortable for working in the garden.
