Thanks for all the responses.  Here are photos of the peppers in various stages.  They get a little redder.  The start purple then go green then red.  I am stumped.  THE BIG(lol) red one is the size of my thumbnail!

No, it is not as purple as the purple flash and it has white blossoms.  The seeds i bought said purple serrano but it sure is not acting like it.
